Due to improved local conditions and the safety and health practices instituted on-site, we have permission from NASA Headquarters to transition to Stage 2 of the NASA Framework for Return to On-Site Work, effective Monday, May 17, 2021.
All on-site employees and visitors are required to continue to follow the Safe-At-Work Protocol. The Presidential Executive Order (EO) #13991 (Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing) is still in effect; therefore, masks are mandatory for ALL on-site employees and visitors, in addition to practicing social distancing.
Telework remains in effect for most NASA personnel. However, NASA employees who must be on-site to perform work may return to Stennis with supervisor approval ensuring that we maintain compliance with the 25% occupancy limitation pursuant to the EO. All other personnel should refer to their specific agency and/or company guidelines and policies.
Any new tenant mission-critical work request that has the potential to increase headcount must continue to be submitted for review and approval. Requests may be sent to Arlen “Ken” Griffey.
Visitors should be limited to mission-critical only in accordance with your agency and/or company guidelines/policies. Please continue to monitor NASA People and SSC Emergency Management for the most current guidance on NASA’s response to the coronavirus and the center’s status.
